How I long to truly be
authentically me;
safe in the knowledge that
faith and love
will set me free.
I am evolving every day:
thoughts beget thoughts
that pile up upon each other
until I silently scream
Enough. It is too much. Away!
Just let me dream.
One day I will discover
Who I am, what I believe
Then,
I will tug upon God's sleeve
and say, 'Hello'
Here I am, this is Me
thank-you for waiting
so patiently.
